Hello!
How are things?
It’s been a little while since we published our last interview, but we have been busy behind the scenes, never fear! We’ve got a great set of interviews lined up to share with you which will be coming out on Sundays from now on and we’re delighted to share that Sunday posts will be available as podcasts, which you can access from your email or in the usual places that you listen to your podcasts.
I hope that this will be a welcome addition as many of you commented that you enjoy listening to the audio file of the interviews. It was on the list to look at doing and then serendipity played a hand as when I interviewed Gemma from Gattertop Drinks Co, I started thinking that it might make a good podcast as we were chatting.
So, now that I’ve figured out how to make that happen, I’m delighted to say that Gemma is our first podcast interviewee and the email will be winging its way to you shortly after this one.
Just as a little recap, Countrywoman’s Guide is an online publication that aims to share the stories of the countryside, providing both inspiration and insights into the lives of the people that live there. You can call it insta reality, or simply a down-to-earth version of what it’s really like to run a business and/or a farm and maybe look after a family at the same time.
We want to build a community of people who get that life’s not always easy, sometimes it delights and other times it’s an absolute pain - but you do get through it and learn as you go. That hindsight wisdom is what we want to share with you, from people across all walks of life, in the hope that it makes your journey easier as you travel.
Please do let us know what you think, in the comments below or do feel free to message us on instagram - we’re @countrywomansguide over there.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for listening…our first podcast interview will be with you shortly.
